About Valmo hair oil

Valmo hair oil came to life through the Cremona sisters, Manuela, Laura and Alessandra, together with the help and support of their families. Everyone goes through different phases in life where hair falls out from either hormones, medical conditions or even stress. One of the founders, Alessandra went through an extremely stressful time in her life that caused severe hair loss. During this time, her hair growth did not recover by itself.

This is when the idea of developing a hair oil that could help with hair strengthening, healthy scalp, and hair growth stimulation began. With this idea thrown on the table we thought that we could design and come up with our own brand of hair oil. One that could work, one that could bring back hair confidence not only to us women, but men as well. We wanted to create a hair oil that could be used on all types of hair.

The siblings have a variety of work experiences in different industries and therefore, put their heads together and combined forces! This is where the trials started. We wanted something with natural ingredients, something healthy, something that could stimulate hair growth and make one’s hair feel fantastic! We threw about a few ideas, did a lot of research, sourced the amazing ingredients and made changes after changes, until we found the perfect combination. This process took us 1 year.

Once we mixed the perfect combination of wonderful ingredients, we started using Valmo hair oil on our own hair, on our husband’s hair as receding hair lines and hair fall on our husbands also started showing.

We had to believe in our own product, we had to testify that our own product worked. It did! We were absolutely amazed at the results. We saw new hair re-growth, shiny hair, less hair fall, and a healthy scalp! We conducted trials using Valmo hair oil on Curly hair, straight hair, ethnic hair, course hair, long hair, short hair, thinning hair, coloured hair. We had to make sure that Valmo hair oil, covered all hair types. Our aim was to ensure that every ingredient we used had amazing benefits for your hair and scalp and the bonus being that all ingredients used were natural! We are absolutely in love with Valmo Hair oil and we know that you will absolutely love it too!

Meet the team

Manuela Cremona De Canha

Manuela graduated from Monash University with a B/com double major degree in marketing and business, as well as an honours degree in branding from the University of Johannesburg.

Manuela has always been passionate about marketing, creating new products and dealing with clients, as well as, being involved with and currently still involved with a family business within the hospitality industry. With over 20 years of experience, Manuela loves being involved in the day to day of running the family business with her siblings and parents.

Alessandra Chesworth

Alessandra Chesworth has an MSc in Food science, mainly involved in the quality department in the food industry.

Alessandra has always enjoyed the process of manufacturing products from raw materials to end product. Alessandra, being diagnosed with an auto immune disease, has always taken an interest in understanding the benefits of various natural ingredients and the effects on your body. She enjoys researching and sourcing new ingredients that have various benefits for ones body.

Laura beaumont

With a career spanning over 14 years Laura has emerged as a seasoned Content Specialist and Project Manager, leaving an indelible mark on the realms of content creation and project management.

With a career spanning over 14 years Laura has emerged as a seasoned Content Specialist and Project Manager, leaving an indelible mark on the realms of content creation and project management. Obtaining an honours degree in computing and information systems from Monash University, Laura is known for a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and meticulous project execution and has been a driving force behind numerous successful ventures. Alongside her knowledge in the IT space Laura is also passionate about contributing to the family business and loves working alongside her siblings and parents. Laura is a devoted wife and mother of two kids who enjoys reading, family time and uplifting her local community by involving herself in charitable work.
